Situational Leadership
Participants are introduced to the model Situational Leadership II. This is a foundational and critical model as it helps leaders to develop their skills.
Situational leadership II (SLII) originated with Ken Blanchard, and is the world’s most taught leadership model. The foundation of SLII lies in teaching leaders to diagnose the needs of an individual or a team and then use the appropriate leadership style to respond to the needs of the person, team and the situation. Leadership styles include providing direction, coaching, providing support and delegating when appropriate.
Participants learn about the 3 Skills of a Situational Leader; goal setting, diagnosing and matching.
Participants will complete an online assessment of their own skill level.
